Goals and Objectives

The Parent Teacher Organization contributes to the overall effort to continually improve our school through promoting, organizing, and running fundraising and social activities.
PTO members may assist teachers and staff in appropriate school activities (class room volunteers, lunch assistance, library assistance, art class/club, reading buddies, sports coaches, etc.)
These goals are met by:
1. Supporting the school's educational mission and objectives.
2. Assisting the administration and faculty of the school in planning, organizing, and executing fund-raising events to supplement the tuition and fees collected to operate the school.
3. Providing a minimum of 10 service hours to the school as a volunteer.
4. Planning, organizing, and executing social events for the parents and students of the school. 

VOLUNTEERS

Please come to the school office to pick up a volunteer packet.  Fingerprint clearance & Virtus training are required. The next VIRTUS training sessions may be found on www.virtusonline.org  To register for fingerprinting, www.adom.sofn.net  Please be sure to submit your certificate to our office once you complete the training workshop.

PLEASE REMEMBER,for on-line shopping, earn the school money through Good Search.com and Goodshop.com

Parents’ Night Out & Silent Auction—Feb. 11 from 6– 9 pm + Movie Night for the Kids

St. Lawrence Anniversary Weekend March 2, 3, & 4, 2012 - Help us celebrate the Parish/School’s 55th Anniversary, Mrs. Hyatt’s 35th anniversary at St. Lawrence & the Child Care Center’s 25th Anniversary!!  Lots of FUN activities are planned!  Put it on your calendar NOW!  Raffle books will be on sale after the holidays.  Join our planning committee!  Next meeting:  February 6, 2012.

AMC Movie Night - End of the school year

Keep saving your Pink BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION.  We earned $147.70 just from Box Tops! All pink coupons will be collected at the end of the month from each classroom.  The class who brings the most will have a pizza party at the end of the year.  Also continue to bring in your used printer cartridges.  We re-cycle them and earn money for the school.

Healthy Kids Initiative:  Our Garden is Blooming, is YOURS?  Help develop proper eating patterns for life!  Plant a garden! You’ll have fun together AND plant seeds for a lifetime of better health!  We will continue to plant vegetables in our garden, and are looking for a healthy harvest!
